Atlanta Idea Studio turns 1!

Wow, it's amazing how fast a year flies by! Atlanta Idea Studio just celebrated our 1st year as an LLC and it has been quite a ride! Creating 7 productions in our first year, as well as our very first webshow series for Natures Garden Delivered! Not too shabby. Although we knew we had a good thing going, we couldn't foresee how our plan for "AiS" as a company was going to change. Our two Principals (Todd Pringle & Tim Suggs) came from an advertising/internet marketing as well as production background. Thinking the company would be a multi-media marketing firm with the ability to offer video production, they saw how much more effective it was to brand clients with the right kind of video marketing. "We do so much work on the front end by developing ideas and planning, it makes for our productions to be quite successful." says Tim Suggs, Partner with the studio. "We are kind of like an ad agency with cameras," says Partner Todd Pringle. Both partners say it hard to describe the kind of company AiS is because not many companies offer quality video production as well as the kind of marketing that goes with it.

Probably the coolest thing that has happened the AiS is our ability to offer Aerial Videography at an affordable price. No more renting a helicopter, pilot, and aerial videographer that could cost you anywhere from $5k-$10k for an hour or two. Atlanta Idea Studio has customized two highly developed RC Helicopters to offer aerial services for corporations, municipalities, golf courses, and resorts. So this year when you're looking for a different kind of marketing, an effective marketing, give us a call...you won't be disappointed.

Atlanta Idea Studio Produces Halloween PSA

We here at Atlanta Idea Studio are passionate about warning others about the dangers associated with texting while driving. One of our partners, Tim was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with another car when the driver, his friend Jake, looked away for just a moment to read a text message. "From that point forward, I wanted to make a difference. Though no one was injured in our accident, I realized how much differently things could have been".  We came up with the idea and funded the production in hopes of warning others and making a difference this Halloween. The spot also features the song "Shake it Off" by singer Marjory Lee. PLEASE SPREAD THE VIDEO AND THE WORD!

According to Edger Snyder and Associates, the stats are alarming.
Approximately 86% of drivers said they ate or drank while driving at some point, and 57% said they do it “sometimes” or “often.”
Over 1/3 of drivers (37%) have sent or received text messages while driving, and 18% said they do it regularly.
Forty-one percent of adult drivers have set or changed a GPS system while driving, and 21% do it “more frequently.”
Many adult drivers (36%) have read a map while driving, and 10% do it “sometimes” or “often.”
One in five drivers have combed or styled his or her hair while driving. One in ten does it regularly.
Have you ever seen a driver putting on makeup? Approximately 14% have done it once, and 7% do it frequently.
About 13% of adult drivers have surfed the Internet while driving.
Results of the poll showed that younger drivers were more likely to engage in distracted driving. Men were more likely to drive while drowsy, drive after drinking, read a map, use a GPS system, and use the Internet.
A large percentage of the people said they know distracted driving is dangerous, but do it anyway.

The #1 FAQ that Atlanta Idea Studio gets asked...

So, when we're meeting with a potential client for the first time, there's a certain procedure that we go about doing that we call the "discovery process." Within this, there's a ton of small talk which leads to Q&A from both parties, but more than that...there's a TON of listening from our end. We are trying to "discover" who this company or organization is and what is at the heart of the operation.
I'd say the most frequently asked question we get is, "how do we/I get better rankings on Google or other search engines." or "I've been in business for a year and have a website, but know ones coming to it and we're not getting noticed." This is when we smile. And not sarcastically. We smile because one: everyone wants the same thing...to be noticed so they can get more business. And two: We know this is where we excel in helping small to medium business move forward. You see, it's not necessarily one formula that works. Atlanta Idea Studio takes our experience from what we know works as well as many "experimental" marketing strategies. DCBA for Children's Hospital Spot

So when your approached by a company that does documentation for hospitals, there's not a whole lot of creativity that comes to mind when brainstorming for a new video spot that would represent a new "children's" division. DCBA (Documentation Coding & Billing Accuracy) is nationally known for their exceptional services among many big hospitals. Atlanta Idea Studio was up for the challenge to create  a video that would be marketed to hospitals that specialize with children. AiS saw a chance to build everything around an all kid cast in adult and kid situations. By using positive, upbeat music (lead by whistling) and a friendly V/O, the end result was a happy video, happy hospitals....happy client.

Mojitos Cuban Bistro gets Webmercial!

Mojitos Cuban Bistro, in downtown Norcross, is a hip spot that is becoming more and more as "a place you gotta go to" in the Atlanta area. With some of the tastiest Cuban food, live latin music (on fridays and saturdays) and of course the best Mojito in town, Mojitos Bistro will be sure to leave a positive impression on you and your group. Atlanta Idea Studio was faced with a challenge of "recreating" the Mojito experience. With a humorous script in hand as well as a cinematic style, AiS accomplished it's goal by producing a local commercial with a national feel. Check out the video here and smell the Mojo through your screen!

Student Driven Church Gets Web Presence!

Ekklesia Suwanee, a church in Gwinnett county, was literally built on the backs of students. Pastor John Strong ( just barely out of his teens) saw a need in his community for students to understand and embrace the love of Christ. With a few people meeting in his basement on friday nights, Ekklesia now has over 200 students and adults meeting at Covenent Life Church in Suwanee.
Atlanta Idea Studio, was approached by Ekklesia to create a website that would reflect who they are as a ministry. With not a lot in their budget to support the task, Atlanta Idea Studio saw a great opportunity to help a worthy cause led by young people with passion. AiS built a 3 page website that would give Ekklesia not only a face on the web, but determined that by creating a blog to link to their site would give them the ability to keep their church goers updated and well informed at all times. With a contemporary, yet historic gritty look, Atlanta Idea Studio achieved the goal that will put this ministry on the map!
